Y’all, let's talk about what we're building, together.

When we took over leadership of the Alabama Democratic Party, we inherited fewer than 40 active county units. No finance staff. A party infrastructure that had been written off by national consultants and abandoned by too many who should have been fighting.

Today? We've got active Democratic organizing in all 67 counties. Every single one. 

We just secured an ActBlue grant to fund an Organizing Director. We helped elect Marilyn Lands in a special election that national Republicans thought was unwinnable. We got Shomari Figures to Congress. And we're fielding 138 candidates in 2026 — the most statewide Democratic candidates in over a decade.

This is what happens when you organize everywhere, show up for everyone, and refuse to accept that any community is beyond reach.

And 2026? 2026 is everything.

This is the year we stop Tommy Tuberville from becoming Governor. This is the year we re-elect Terri Sewell and Shomari Figures to Congress. This is the year we flip State House and State Senate seats that Republicans have held for decades. This is the year we prove that when Democrats actually compete in Alabama — when we build real infrastructure and invest in real organizing — we can win.

The conditions are perfect. Trump's approval rating is tanking. Voters are fed up with MAGA chaos and cruelty. Republicans are tearing each other apart. Special elections across the country are swinging toward Democrats. And we've got the most robust organizing operation the Alabama Democratic Party has had in a generation.

2026 is everything. And we're going to win it together.
