CALL TO ACTION – TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE — SEND EMAILS AND MAKE PHONE CALLS NOW #STOPBill321

The Alabama Legislature wants to shut down the Hemp Industry and psychoactive cannabinoids in the State of Alabama.

SB321/2026, sponsored by Alabama State Senator Tom Butler, would classify psychoactive cannabinoids derived from hemp as controlled substances, including Delta-8, Delta-9, and Delta-10 THC.

This legislation would effectively destroy what remains of the Alabama Hemp Industry. All the information you need is below in this post. We have made this simple and easy.

If you are not actively advocating for Cannabis/Hemp in the State of Alabama, now is the time to become part of the solution.

Please share this post.

Dear Members of the Alabama Senate Healthcare Committee,

My name is [YOUR NAME], and I am a citizen of Alabama writing to respectfully urge you to oppose SB321.

This legislation would effectively shut down the hemp industry in Alabama by classifying hemp-derived psychoactive cannabinoids such as Delta-8, Delta-9, and Delta-10 THC as controlled substances. The bill would also repeal the current regulatory framework that allows these products to be sold to adults over the age of 21 under testing and labeling requirements.

Alabama farmers, small businesses, and consumers would all be negatively impacted by this legislation. Instead of dismantling an existing industry, I encourage the legislature to focus on responsible regulation that protects consumers while allowing legal businesses to operate.

Please consider the economic impact on Alabama entrepreneurs and agricultural producers before moving forward with SB321.
I respectfully ask that you oppose this bill.

Thank you for your time and service to the people of Alabama.

Sincerely,
[YOUR NAME]
[YOUR CITY], Alabama
