Aderholt to Host Pinning Ceremonies for Vietnam Veterans in Tuscumbia and Cleveland
Events are part of the national Vietnam War Commemoration
U.S. Representative Robert Aderholt (R-AL4) will host two special ceremonies this August to honor Vietnam Veterans from Alabama’s Fourth Congressional District. The events, scheduled for August 22 in Tuscumbia and August 29 in Cleveland, are part of the national Vietnam War Commemoration effort—a program designed to recognize Veterans who served during one of the most challenging periods in American military history.
“These men and women served our nation with courage during a difficult chapter in our history, and many never received the recognition they so rightfully deserved when they returned home,” Aderholt said. “These ceremonies are a small but heartfelt way to say ‘thank you’ on behalf of a grateful nation.”
The ceremonies are open to the public, and family members are encouraged to attend. Each Vietnam Veteran present who resides in the Fourth District will be presented with a commemorative lapel pin as a token of appreciation for their service.
