By all measures, Lt. Governor Will Ainsworth has lived up to the promises he made when he first asked for our vote. He didn’t just talk about helping Alabama families, he got to work and delivered real, measurable results. In a political landscape too often dominated by noise and inaction, Ainsworth has proven himself to be a principled, effective, and forward-thinking leader.

In a recent post reflecting on his years of service, Ainsworth shared that he ran for Lt. Governor to “create opportunities for Alabama families and decrease the burden of taxes and government regulation.” That wasn’t just a campaign slogan—it was a mission he’s carried out every day in office. With the support of the legislature, Ainsworth helped cut the state’s grocery tax in half, delivered tax relief for small businesses and new families, and championed initiatives to support veterans and military families. That includes the opening of a new Veterans Resource Center and the successful passage of 11 bills focused on improving the lives of those who’ve served our country.

These are real accomplishments that touch the lives of Alabamians across the state—from working families to small business owners to those who’ve worn the uniform. And Ainsworth has done it all while maintaining transparency with the public and working closely with lawmakers to get things done. His deep knowledge of the legislative process and his strong relationships in Montgomery have made him one of the most effective Lt. Governors in recent memory.

As we look ahead to 2026, political observers are beginning to speculate about what the future holds for Alabama’s top leaders. Should Senator Tommy Tuberville decide to return home and run for Governor, Ainsworth would be the ideal choice to represent Alabama in the United States Senate. His conservative record, commitment to economic growth, and legislative experience would serve our state well in Washington.

That said, Tuberville is doing an excellent job in the Senate. He’s been a strong voice for our military, our farmers, and conservative values. In fact, many members of President Trump’s inner circle have encouraged him to remain in D.C. and help finish what the Trump administration started. His role in the America First movement is significant, and his continued presence in the Senate is a benefit to both Alabama and the nation.

If Senator Tuberville stays in Washington, Ainsworth would be perfectly positioned to run for Governor. If Tuberville returns and has the votes for Governor, Ainsworth is well-suited for the U.S. Senate. Either way, Alabama has an opportunity to elevate a leader who has proven he can deliver results without compromising his principles.

Will Ainsworth has earned the trust of the people he serves. Whether his next step is the Governor’s Mansion or the United States Senate, his steady leadership and record of achievement make him one of Alabama’s strongest and most promising public servants.
