BeefPAC—the political wing of the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association (ACA)—has formally thrown its support behind Corey Hill for the Republican nomination for Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries.

Hill, a working farmer and civic leader, has crisscrossed the State branding himself “the farmer’s choice,” leaning on his experience in agriculture to make his case to voters.

“As a cattle producer himself, Corey brings a deep respect for the beef industry and for the farmers who make it thrive across Alabama’s rural landscape,” said Erin Beasley, Executive Vice President of the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association. “At his core, he believes in reduced government and regulation on small businesses. We look forward to working alongside him to champion the future of our state’s beef cattle industry.”

Hill expressed gratitude for the backing of cattle operators across Alabama:

“Raising cattle is hard work. It’s often thankless work, but it is important work,” Hill said. “In addition to feeding people across the nation, cattle farming is responsible for thousands of Alabama jobs and contributes more than $2.5 billion to our state's economy. I am honored to have their support, and I look forward to working alongside my fellow farmers as the next Agriculture Commissioner.”

Hill’s campaign has also earned endorsements from the Alabama Farmers Federation, as revealed in its 2026 endorsement list, and the Alabama Grocers Association, citing his dual roles as farmer and grocer as assets in bridging policy and practice.

Hill is currently Mayor of Douglas and operates a mixed farm and grocery store. He will face State Senator Jack Williams and Fifth-generation farmer Christina Woerner McInnis in the May 19, 2026 Republican primary.
