Alabama Congressional Delegation Responds to the LA Rioting
Senators Tuberville, Britt, Moore and Palmer have made statements on social media

As the situation in Los Angeles continues to deteriorate, with “mostly peaceful” protests ongoing, California Governor Newsom and LA Mayor Bass appear to have actively resisted President Trump’s desire to quell the violence.
Oh June 7, President Trump signed a Presidential Memorandum federalizing at least 2,000 National Guardsmen and directing the Secretary of Defense to use them to restore order.
As of noon on Monday, several members of Alabama’s Congressional Delegation had responded to the LA crisis on social media.
Senator Tommy Tuberville posted on X that:
“Democrats have become the party of destruction and lawlessness.
“Terrorism and anarchy WILL NOT BE TOLERATED under President Trump.
“Those wishing to harm our country and our citizens have NO PLACE here.”
Sen. Katie Britt also posted on X, saying:
“While Governor Newsom and Mayor Bass refuse to act as dangerous, violent rioters attack ICE officers, President Trump is stepping up to protect these hardworking men and women.
“It’s simple. Democrats want open borders, Republicans stand for law and order.”
Representative Barry Moore (R-AL1) posted:
“The fake news is lying again. This is not "just a bunch of people having fun watching cars burn" - it is a violent riot spurred by the Left's obsession with protecting illegals.
“California needs law and order.”
Moore was responding to a post by Steve Guest of a clip from LA ABC affiliate KABC’s (ABC7) Marc Brown cautioning against sending in law enforcement “the wrong way” because the protests are “just a bunch of people having fun watching cars burn.”
Rep. Gary Palmer (R-AL6) also commented on X:
“Sanctuary Governors like Governor Gavin Newsom and Sanctuary Mayors like Mayor Karen Bass are siding with criminals and putting Americans at risk by allowing these riots to take place.
“President Trump is doing exactly what is necessary to restore law and order to protect all of our communities.”
At press time, Reps. Shomari Figures (D-AL1), Mike Rogers (R-AL3), Robert Aderholt (R-AL4), Mike Strong (R-AL5) and Terri Sewell (D-AL7) had not commented either by statement or social media post.
Meanwhile, NoKings.org is attempting to organize a series of nationwide protests for June 14th—President Trump’s birthday. ALPolitics.com urges all our readers to be prudent and stay safe.
