Atlanta, GA – Alabama Republican Party Chairman John Wahl released the following statement concerning the election of Joe Gruters as Chairman of the Republican National Committee at today's RNC's meeting in Atlanta:
"I could not be more excited for my friend Joe Gruters on his election as Chairman of the Republican National Committee. Joe and I first got to know each other when he was serving as Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida and I was elected Chairman here in Alabama. Since then, we’ve worked closely together on the RNC, and I’ve been proud to call him not just a colleague, but a good friend.
"Joe has been a fellow ally for President Trump, a defender of the America First agenda, and a champion for returning power back to the grassroots. His leadership and commitment to conservative principles make him the right person to guide our Party into the future.
