ALGOP Announces Qualified Candidate for Alabama Senate Districts 25 & 26 Special Primary Election

HOOVER, Ala. — The Alabama Republican Party (ALGOP) announced today that candidate qualifying for the Alabama Senate Districts 25 and 26 Special Primary Election officially closed at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1.

Following the close of qualifying, one Republican candidate successfully qualified for the Special Primary Election:

• Will Barfoot — State Senate District 25

The Special Primary Election was scheduled in accordance with Governor Kay Ivey’s proclamation calling special elections to fill the vacancies in Senate Districts 25 and 26. Additional information regarding election dates and procedures will be made available through ALGOP and state election officials.
