Easter has always been a time to slow down and remember what matters most: Jesus Christ—His sacrifice, His suffering, and the quiet, powerful truth of the empty tomb. He chose to give His life for us out of love, a love that calls us to live differently.

It is easy to let the days get busy and the noise of the world take over. However, Easter pulls us back toward our purpose. Resurrection Sunday reminds us that we are here to serve one another, to carry each other’s burdens, and to show grace even when it is difficult.

Across Alabama, you can see that spirit in people who show up for their neighbors. Folks lend a hand without being asked and give their time and their hearts expecting nothing in return. That kind of quiet service reflects the example Christ set for us.

This season is about remembering who we are called to be. Choose kindness when it would be easier not to. Live with a sense of purpose that is bigger than ourselves.

My prayer this Easter is that we all aim to be more Christlike and take time to reflect, be grateful, and look for ways to serve others in our daily lives.

After all, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

From our family to yours, we pray you have a meaningful and blessed Easter.
