Angela McClure, a former White House advance staffer under President Donald J. Trump and well-known Alabama conservative, is making waves with her new podcast, Angela’s Sweet Tea and Politics. The show, which blends Southern charm with unapologetic conservative commentary, recently featured former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani in a candid conversation on politics, patriotism, and the direction of the Republican Party.

McClure, sometimes dubbed “Fox News Barbie” by the Left, said her goal with the podcast is to create a platform where meaningful, unfiltered discussions can happen. “I want to give conservatives a seat at the table with the voices shaping America’s future,” McClure said. “We don’t sugarcoat the tough topics. We talk about faith, freedom, and the values that hold this country together.”

In his appearance, Giuliani reflected on his decades in public service, his close alliance with President Trump, and his views on the challenges facing Republicans today. The conversation touched on topics ranging from the state of New York to the populist shift within the Republican Party.

McClure said Giuliani’s presence underscored the kind of conversations she wants to bring to her listeners. “Having Mayor Giuliani join me on the show shows exactly what this podcast is about—fearless conversations with leaders who have fought battles on the national stage and still stand strong for America,” she explained.

Here is the podcast:

Known in Alabama for her grassroots engagement, McClure previously ran for the Alabama House of Representatives in District 20 and later for Huntsville City School Board. She said her background in campaigns and her time serving in the Trump White House inspired her to create Sweet Tea and Politics. “Politics isn’t just headlines from Washington,” she added. “It’s about how decisions impact families right here in Alabama, and I want to bring that truth directly to the people.”

New episodes of Sweet Tea and Politics are released weekly on major platforms including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Patreon. McClure promises a lineup that will feature not only national political leaders, but also grassroots voices and cultural figures.

“This show is about more than politics—it’s about building a community that stands for faith, family, and freedom,” McClure said. “If you love America, pull up a chair and join the conversation.”
