Announces Alabama State House District 7 run after removal from Republican ballot

Courtland, Alabama — Declaring himself a "Trump Independent," Angelo "Doc" Mancuso today officially launched his independent campaign for Alabama State House District 7 after being removed from the Republican primary ballot by the Alabama Republican Executive Committee.
Mancuso said the decision by party leadership denied voters in District 7 the opportunity to choose their candidate in the Republican primary and left many conservatives without a voice in the race.
“When Ernie Yarborough and his cronies worked behind closed doors to remove me, it deprived voters of their voice in this election," Mancuso said. "I stand firmly for conservative values, limited government, and protecting the rights of Alabama families. I'm proud to be a Trump Independent candidate, and ready to take my message directly to the voters."
"Our campaign will move forward with urgency and determination, driven by the belief that elections belong to the voters - not to committees, not to insiders, and not to anyone trying to limit the choices of the people of District 7,“ stated Mancuso.
The general election is Tuesday, November 3.
