MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Business Council of Alabama (BCA) announced today that Madeline Roth Green has joined its staff as Director of Events and Development on the External Affairs team.

Green brings extensive experience in event management, association leadership, and nonprofit engagement. Most recently, she served as Events Manager for the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama (EDPA), where she led the planning and execution of high-profile events showcasing Alabama’s growing industries and dynamic business environment. Prior to that role, Green worked as Events and Professional Development Manager for the Alabama Association of Realtors, overseeing large-scale conferences and receptions across the state. Her professional background spans nonprofit retention, association administration, and strategic event planning, equipping her to support BCA’s mission of fostering a strong, pro-business climate in Alabama.

“Madeline brings a strong background in event leadership and a deep understanding of Alabama’s business and civic landscape,” said BCA President and CEO Helena Duncan. “Her experience and established relationships across the state will be a valuable asset as we continue to engage with our members and partners.”

A Montgomery native, Green earned her bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University. She is also deeply involved in the Montgomery community, volunteering in leadership roles at First United Methodist Church, serving as a board member of Bridge Builders of Alabama, participating on the Junior Executive Board for Brantwood Children’s Home, and serving on the Board of Trustees for the Montgomery Academy.

As Director of Events and Development, Green joins BCA’s external affairs team alongside Bradshaw Tyson, VP of External Affairs, and Reagan Huguley, Communications Coordinator.  Green will oversee BCA’s events strategy and support development initiatives that strengthen relationships with members, partners, and stakeholders.

“I’m thrilled to join the Business Council of Alabama team in their important work to protect and advance our state’s strong business climate,” said Green. “I look forward to contributing to the mission and working alongside the impactful leaders and businesses shaping Alabama’s future.”

Green officially joined the staff on January 12.
