Beef PAC Backs Katherine Robertson’s Alabama AG Bid
Alabama Cattlemen’s Beef PAC endorses Katherine Robertson for Attorney General, citing her record on agriculture, regulation and rural advocacy
Republican candidate Katherine Robertson picked up a key endorsement this week as the Alabama Beef PAC announced its support of her bid for Attorney General.
Beef PAC, the political arm of the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association, represents thousands of cattle producers across the State. The group cited Robertson’s strong record supporting agriculture and rural communities in backing her campaign.
An eighth-generation Alabamian from Dallas County, Robertson has longstanding ties to the cattle and timber industries of the Black Belt region. Her upbringing on a farm helped shape her appreciation for the work of farmers and her commitment to agricultural heritage.
Erin Beasley, Executive Vice President of the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association, praised Robertson’s leadership and experience. “I have appreciated the close relationship that our Association has had with the Attorney General’s Office throughout Katherine’s ten years of leadership. Katherine knows first-hand the challenges that our cattlemen face, but she’s also proven to be adept at delivering solutions,” Beasley said. “We know exactly what we’re going to get with Katherine as Attorney General — a hard worker, a dedicated conservative, and an effective advocate. We are pleased to support her in this race.”
Robertson expressed gratitude for the support of cattle producers and underscored her commitment to defending their interests. “As the granddaughter of a cattleman, I am deeply honored by the support of the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association. I have the utmost respect and admiration for those who feed our State and nation and understand the importance of standing up for them,” Robertson said. “As Attorney General, I will continue to protect property rights, fight excessive regulations, and will do everything in my power to ensure that rural Alabama and our agricultural industries thrive.”
Robertson brings more than a decade of experience in the Attorney General’s Office to her campaign. She has advocated for farming families and rural interests while working to block what she has called burdensome federal regulations and fighting what she terms “environmental extremists.”
Robertson has previously been endorsed by The Alabama Farmers Federation, the Petroleum and Convenience Marketers of Alabama, the Republican Attorneys General Association and numerous Sheriffs across Alabama.
Robertson launched her campaign last June and formally qualified for the Republican primary for Attorney General earlier this month. She will face former Alabama Supreme Court Justice Jay Mitchell and Blount County District Attorney Pamela Casey in the Republican primary on May 19.
