From the Bishop for Bama campaign

I had the pleasure of meeting with the Morgan County Republican Executive Committee Tuesday evening for a "Chat with Pat". The meeting began with me acknowledging each military veteran and first responder, as well as their families, and thanking them all for their service and sacrifice.

I introduced myself, and spoke about my faith, my family, my country, and the great State of Alabama. I engaged the crowded room of about 50 people on how I planned to make Alabama better.

My campaign, often referred to by the slogan "Make Alabama Better" (MAB), focuses on "bottom-line common sense" and highlights several key priorities:

Education: Improving basic education rankings and supporting teachers. Prioritizing parental rights, school choice, and expanding STEM programs.

Law Enforcement & Safety: Ending human trafficking, supporting the Bureau of Pardons and Parole, and providing retirement credentials for law enforcement.

Fiscal Responsibility: Promoting strategic and impartial leadership in the State Senate. Supporting the removal of the state sales tax on groceries and fighting inflationary policies.

Mental Health: Advocating for more state resources and "community service officers" to assist law enforcement with mental health calls.

Veterans: Proposing the creation of Alabama Veterans Resources Centers (AVRC) to streamline support for former service members.

One person in attendance stated, "Pat is a dedicated veteran, leader, and trailblazer. He has exemplified discipline, courage, and excellence with 26 years of military service."

I am running for Lieutenant Governor of Alabama because I truly believe that action speaks louder than words. I will work to secure actions that will prepare each Alabamian for the workforce. There is no reason that everyone who is able to be employed ....should not be employed. I will work with correctional facilities, focusing on high-demand skills like welding, barbering, and machinery, with new grants (e.g., $150,000 in 2025) to support these programs. This reduces recidivism.

I believe in utilizing the Army’s core values (acronym: LDRSHIP)—Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage, as the backbone of his "common-sense" leadership style.
