Boyd Hosts Town Hall in Greensboro April 9

GREENSBORO AL — Tonight at 6 PM Dr Will Boyd Democratic candidate for Governor of Alabama will host a town hall and community conversation at the Hale County National Guard Armory located at 515 Green Street in Greensboro Alabama. The event is open to all Alabamians who want to hear a bold vision for a stronger fairer and more prosperous Alabama.

Dr Will Boyd is a devoted husband father and servant leader whose life and career reflect a deep commitment to service and to lifting up communities across our state. He is an experienced educator who has served as a professor and as a dean shaping the minds of young people and preparing future leaders. He also brings practical leadership in healthcare through his service on a hospital board and compassionate outreach through prison ministry work. Dr Boyd is a Bishop who oversees churches around the world and an author whose words have inspired many. He is also a licensed clinical therapist who understands the challenges families face because he meets them every day.

Dr Boyd’s academic and professional credentials are vast and unique. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and an MBA in Business Administration and he has earned three doctoral degrees. He is a trained engineer with a foundation in analytical problem solving and systems thinking that informs his practical approach to governing. His experience spans education healthcare community development business and personal wellbeing giving him a rare breadth of insight into the real needs of everyday Alabamians.

Dr Boyd believes that leadership must be grounded in listening learning and working together to build solutions that work for everyone. His campaign for governor is rooted in expanding opportunity strengthening education making healthcare accessible and affordable supporting mental health services protecting voting rights and growing an economy that provides dignity and stability for working families across Alabama.
