“What sets our campaign apart is the energy and commitment of the people of District 4”—Brian Gunn

With Election Day just days away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, Brian Gunn’s campaign for Birmingham City Council District 4 is gaining strong momentum. He leads in fundraising, volunteer effort, and endorsements, positioning himself as the front-runner in a competitive field.
According to the latest reports, Gunn has raised $23,908.35—leaving incumbent J.T. Moore trailing with $6,422.20 in reported contributions. Meanwhile, opponents Joseph Holt and Darryl Williams have yet to file any campaign receipts or establish official committees.
But, the campaign’s strength isn’t measured in dollars alone. Gunn’s team has knocked on more than 5,000 doors and made contact with 6,877 voters by phone. This hands-on effort speaks to a campaign powered by genuine energy and a commitment to community engagement.
