Bullock County Republican Congressional Info Session August 8
Union Springs event will feature a viewing of the ALPolitics.com candidate forum livestream of July 14
An Information Session on the Second District Republican candidates for Congress in the August 11 special primary election will be held on Saturday, August 8 from 2:00 — 4:00 PM.
The event will be at the Josephine Event Center, 126 North Prairie St., Union Springs, Alabama.
During the event, the ALpolitics.com livestream of the candidates at the July 14 Republican Club of Central Alabama forum will be shown, followed by a discussion of the forum. Sample ballots will also be available for review.
The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
This represents an excellent opportunity to learn more about the candidates before the August 11 special primary. Under the rules of this special primary, there will be NO runoff — the candidate who receives the highest vote total will become the Republican nominee to face incumbent Democrat Shomari Figures in the November 3 general election.
