MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Business Council of Alabama (BCA) and Launch Regional Partnership (Launch) announced today that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to formalize a partnership focused on advancing regional collaboration, workforce alignment, and economic growth in North Alabama.

Founded in 2015 by business leaders in Limestone, Madison, and Morgan counties, Launch is a nonpartisan, business-led 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to fostering regional cooperation and driving strategic action that supports sustainable growth. The organization connects communities, aligns priorities, and serves as a unifying force across the Tennessee Valley.

“Regional collaboration is essential to Alabama’s long-term economic success,” said Helena Duncan, President and CEO of the Business Council of Alabama. “Launch has built a strong foundation in North Alabama by bringing business and community leaders together around shared goals. We are proud to formalize this partnership and work alongside them to further strengthen the region’s economic momentum.”

Through this agreement, BCA and Launch will work together to align regional initiatives with statewide priorities, strengthen economic competitiveness, and amplify the voice of business.

“Our mission has always been to serve as a unifying force for North Alabama,” said Jim Page, Chair and Interim Executive Director of Launch Regional Partnership. “This partnership with BCA reinforces our shared commitment to collaboration, innovation, and long-term economic vitality. Together, we can better connect local efforts to statewide priorities.”

By combining Launch’s regional leadership with BCA’s statewide advocacy, the partnership aims to accelerate strategic initiatives that benefit businesses, communities, and families across Alabama.

The Business Council of Alabama is the premier voice for Alabama business. BCA is a non-partisan, statewide business association representing the interests and concerns of nearly 1 million working Alabamians through its member companies and its partnership with the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama. BCA is Alabama’s exclusive affiliate to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Manufacturers.
