Marshall County, AL — Carson M. Butler has officially announced his candidacy for State Executive Committee, Place One, representing Marshall County within the Alabama Republican Party.

Butler brings nearly a decade of party leadership experience to the race. He previously served seven years on the local executive committee in Etowah County, where he worked to strengthen grassroots organization and support Republican candidates at every level. In 2022, Butler ran for the State Executive Committee in Etowah County and was elected unopposed, a reflection of the trust and confidence placed in him by fellow Republicans.

A steadfast supporter of President Donald J. Trump and the conservative movement, Butler was honored to serve as a two-time Trump delegate to the Republican National Convention in 2020 and again in 2024, representing Alabama on the national stage.

After marrying the love of his life, Caitlin Motes Butler, Carson relocated to Marshall County and quickly sought ways to continue his service to the Republican Party. With a continued commitment to strengthening conservative leadership across Alabama, Butler entered the race for State Executive Committee, Marshall County Place One.

“I have always believed that service to our party is about strengthening the grassroots and standing firm on our conservative principles,” Butler said. “While my home has changed, my commitment to the Republican Party and to the people of Alabama remains the same.”

Butler will continue serving the people of Etowah County on the State Executive Committee until the completion of his current term. His campaign in Marshall County is rooted in experience, proven leadership, and a continued dedication to advancing the values that define Alabama Republicans: faith, family, freedom, and constitutional governance.
