Revamped app allows illegals to notify CBP of their intent to self-deport

CBP One App Now CBP Home

The CBP One app that allowed over 600,000 illegals to enter the US during the Biden administration has now been renamed and repurposed. On Monday, March 10, US Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) announced that the app would now be the “CBP Home” mobile app, and it would have a feature so that “Aliens can now notify the U.S. Government of their intent to depart the United States.

In a statement, CBP said:

“Today, U.S. Customs and Border Protection announces the public-facing mobile application, CBP Home. The application has a new feature – Intent to Depart – which offers unlawfully present aliens or those aliens whose parole has been revoked an orderly and defined voluntary process to notify the U.S. Government of their intent to depart the United States. This new feature is a necessary tool to comply with the President’s Executive Order 14159, Protecting the American People Against Invasion.
“CBP Home App strengthens our mission to secure the U.S. border by ensuring lawful entry for travelers and supporting effective enforcement,” said Pete Flores, Acting Commissioner, U.S Customs and Border Protection. “The app provides illegal aliens in the United States with a straightforward way to declare their intent to voluntarily depart, offering them the chance to leave before facing harsher consequences. This reinforces our commitment to enforcing U.S. laws and safeguarding national security.”

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said about the change in the app, “The Biden Administration exploited the CBP One App to allow more than 1 million aliens to illegally enter the United States. With the launching of the CBP Home App, we are restoring integrity to our immigration system.”

Noem went on to say, “The CBP Home App gives aliens the option to leave now and self-deport, so they may still have the opportunity to return legally in the future and live the American dream.”

“If they don’t, we will find them, we will deport them, and they will never return.”

Noem had previously said she would end the use of the CBP One app “on Day 1,” describing the southern border as a “war zone.”
