Candidate for Alabama Commissioner Christina Woerner McInnis is tailgating at the Iron Bowl in Auburn today, meeting Alabamians before the game tonight.

McInnis told ALPolitics.com that:

“The Iron Bowl is one of the South’s greatest traditions, and as an Auburn graduate, it always brings back incredible memories. No matter which side you’re on, it’s a game that showcases the passion, pride, and spirit of our state.”

McInnis, a fifth-generation farmer whose family had been farming in Alabama since 1906, is seeking to be the first woman Commissioner of Ag & Industries in Alabama history.
