Cindy Myrex Releases New Campaign Video for Alabama House District 12 Race
Video emphasizes her commitment to faith, family, freedom

Cindy Myrex, Republican candidate for Alabama House of Representatives District 12, has released a campaign video highlighting her deep roots in Cullman County, her conservative values, and her commitment to faith, family, and freedom.
Set against the scenic backdrop of Smith Lake and rural Cullman County, the video opens with sweeping aerial shots at sunrise before introducing Myrex—wife, mother, realtor, and lifelong resident—as a leader grounded in the values that matter most to Alabamians.
"I've spent my life right here in Cullman County—raising a family, building a business, and serving the community I love," Myrex says in the video.
The video showcases Myrex's personal story, including 18 years as a stay-at-home mother and nearly two decades helping families find their homes in the Smith Lake area. It also emphasizes her conservative credentials, including her service as a Trump Delegate and her role on the State Executive Committee for the Alabama Republican Party.
"I'm running for the Alabama House because I believe in protecting what matters—our families, our freedoms, and our future," Myrex says.
The video affirms Myrex's dedication to representing District 12 with integrity and conservative values.
The full video is now available on Cindy Myrex's social media platforms.
Myrex will face Heather Doyle, Clint Hollingsworth and Dan McWhorter in the District 12 special election primary on July 15, with a runoff being held August 12, if needed. The Republican nominee will face Democrat Matthew Glover in the special general election October 28.
