My Official Statement about My Hearing before the ALGOP Steering Committee
I have met some great people in the Alabama Republican Party since running for Governor in the 2022 election cycle and running for Lt. Governor this past year. There are many true patriots in the ALGOP that believe in free speech, fair play, and respecting the rule of law via the U.S. Constitution, Alabama State Constitution and our laws in general. Many of them love and worship God above party politics and their faith in Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible rule their morality and ethics. But I have also met some people in the ALGOP that lie, cheat, break the law, disregard the Alabama Constitution, censor free speech, display despicable cronyism, and love money and position more than integrity and truthfulness.
Though I disagree with the ALGOP Steering Committee’s decision yesterday, I accept it. I did technically break their little rule, but their obvious lack of enforcing the rules equally for everyone has been made evident. I hope this incident and uproar surrounding it will motivate current and future ALGOP leaders to fix these glaring inconsistencies within the rules and their enforcement.
I was told by the former ALGOP chairman John Wahl that I could have an EXEMPTION hearing if my ballot access was challenged. When it seemed I was going to be completely denied a hearing, I hired a lawyer. Then, things shifted and I was allowed a hearing. I have thought this and said it to others, “If I was not a good example of someone who should have received an exemption, then I wonder who is?” I guess if my “crime” was merely having an alias and a Tennessee driver’s license, I would still be on the ballot.
I received many wonderful recommendation letters from very active and well-known ALGOP leaders and very active conservative voters across Alabama confirming my total loyalty to every plank of the ALGOP platform and my very conservative positions on all topics. But at the end of the day yesterday those recommendations and my response to the committee were not enough to get 3/4 of the votes of the ALGOP Steering Committee who seemed to have already decided before I stepped into the room. I was told the day before by multiple sources that the decision was already made to deny my appeal. I’m sure Wes Allen and Terry Latham (multiple sources tagged her as my challenger, not sure why I was on her hit list) are very happy about the outcome of my hearing yesterday. Wes Allen could not have me expose and embarrass him at another debate.
Nevertheless, I will continue to fight for truly conservative, freedom-focused and anti-corruption issues in Alabama. For example, we must get rid of the hardware and software-compromised electronic voting system being manipulated by Deep State, bad actors, CCP agents and traitors in our midst. Anyone pushing to keep these voting machines and the current system is either woefully ignorant or part of the corruption. And just so everyone knows, Wes Allen and John Merrill cannot claim ignorance.
Secondly, we must tear down our corrupt and broken child protection system (DHR) that has (in many cases) been wrongfully taking children from parents. We must fight for justice for these parents and children. We must find a way for these parents to be heard and helped especially after I learned from AG Chief Counsel Katherine Robertson that the Alabama Attorney General represents DHR. Who can wronged parents turn to in Alabama?
Thirdly, we must get major campaign finance reform in Alabama, or the political corruption will only continue to get worse. Case in point, it seems that the campaign donations from Alabama Power caused many “Republicans” to try to pass HB 392 which takes away our right to vote for members of the Public Service Commission that regulate Alabama Power. This kind of stuff has to be stopped “…not slowed down.”
And finally, we must stop these solar farms and data centers from ruining our state. Certain kinds of “economic development” are not good for us. Alabama is being sold to highest bidders by weak politicians regardless of the long-term consequences. We must guard our farmland and help our farmers, or we will be in a world of hurt in the days ahead.
Thanks to all of the true, conservative Republicans and Christian brothers and sisters who supported me and have prayed for me. The fight against the RINOs in Alabama and the corrupt politicians is not over.
Blessings in Jesus Christ,
Pastor Dean Odle
And for the record…I am not running a write-in campaign nor am I advocating for anyone to write-in my name on the ballot in 2026. I am officially suspending my campaign for Lt. Governor of Alabama, but I will continue to speak out about the serious issues we are facing in our great state and the nation.
