Hueytown, AL  U.S. congressional candidate Case Dixon criticized the White House following the launch of a webpage Friday highlighting the administration’s work for American farmers under the title “OnlyFarms,” a name widely seen as a play on the adult content platform “OnlyFans.”

Dixon said the comparison is inappropriate and turns the very people it claims to support into a punchline.

“This isn’t clever. It’s embarrassing,” Dixon said. “Government should take our farmers seriously. They work day in and day out to provide for their families and for this country. They deserve more respect than to be turned into a joke.”

“Out of all the ways to highlight farmers, this is what they chose,” Dixon continued. “After a strong mandate from voters in 2024 to refocus on faith and values, and at a time when so many families are dealing with the real effects of pornography in our culture, this is painfully out of touch.”

Dixon said the issue reflects a lack of seriousness from the office itself.

“When you’re operating from the White House, there should be a level of professionalism and reverence for that position,” Dixon said. “This doesn’t reflect that. It looks careless. It looks unserious. It looks like something put together for clicks, not to actually honor the people it’s supposed to represent.”

“It would be completely different if this came from The Babylon Bee,” Dixon added. “But this is the United States government. It’s the White House. I hold that office to a higher standard. Taxpayers don’t fund the federal government for comedy.”

“These are hardworking men and women who keep this country running,” Dixon added. “They deserve respect. What they don’t deserve is to be turned into a cheap headline or a meme.”

Case Dixon is a candidate for Congress in Alabama’s 6th District in the Republican primary on May 19.
