Hueytown, AL  Republican congressional candidate Case Dixon is criticizing Rep. Gary Palmer after Palmer condemned “vaccines pushed without full transparency” despite previously promoting the COVID-19 vaccine as “safe and effective.”

In a social media post Wednesday, Palmer criticized Anthony Fauci and referenced “vaccines pushed without full transparency.” Dixon says the statement stands in sharp contrast to Palmer’s public comments in 2020, when Palmer celebrated Operation Warp Speed, thanked those responsible for developing the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, and described it as “safe and effective.”

The judgment of the people we send to Washington matters,”Dixon said. “When one of the biggest public health decisions in modern history was unfolding, Congressman Palmer wasn’t asking hard questions. He was encouraging the people who trusted him to take an experimental vaccine.

Dixon said the issue is not simply that Palmer’s rhetoric has changed over time, but what Palmer’s actions and statements revealed about his judgment when it mattered most.

Members of Congress shouldn’t simply repeat what government officialsand bureaucracies are telling the public,” Dixon said. “They should be willing to question the narrative, demand transparency, and exercise independent judgment before encouraging millions of Americans to trust an experimental product.

Voters deserve representatives who are willing to challenge Washington, not follow it.
