Eagle Forum of Trussville to Meet August 14

Eagle Forum of Trussville will be having their monthly meeting on Thursday, August 14. The meeting will be held at the Trussville Civic Center, 5381 Trussville Clay Rd., Trussville, AL.

A meet and greet with coffee and refreshments will begin at 5:30 PM, with the meeting beginning at 6:00 PM.

Ted Halley, a native of Opelika and Auburn graduate, 24-year U.S. Air Force Veteran and father to five adopted children will share his experiences into the personal and cultural impacts of gender dysphoria.

After his children were grown, Ted fully transitioned and lived as a woman for 12 years until he had a radical encounter with Jesus in 2021. He has since detransitioned and now shares his story of redemption and truth.

There will also be an update on the ongoing public library guidelines controversy in Alabama, with books on transgenderism being available for review.

Participants are encouraged to invite their pastors, youth leaders , friends and other interested parties.

The meeting is free and open to the public.
