Governor Ivey Introduces New First Dog, Huntley
Replaces former First Dog Missy, who passed in April

Governor Kay Ivey has introduced Huntley, a three-year-old female Yellow Labrador, as Alabama’s new First Dog at the Governor’s Mansion. After mourning Missy’s passing in April, the state is excited for a new furry friend .
Governor Ivey said, “Huntley is amazing, and I am excited to introduce her to my fellow Alabamians. She and I enjoy practicing her commands and tricks, playing with her toys, and we have even had a chance to break away for a weekend at the lake. Huntley very quickly adjusted to life at the Governor’s Mansion, and she is loving it!”
Huntley has quickly settled into her new life at the Governor’s home. She now lives with Governor Ivey and sometimes visits her office at the Capitol.
