Green Beret Veteran Joshua McKee Launches America First Campaign for Congress in Alabama’s 1st District
From the McKee campaign

BALDWIN COUNTY, AL — Bronze Star recipient, 25-year Army Special Forces veteran, and proven conservative fighter Joshua McKee on Friday announced his Republican bid for Congress in Alabama’s 1st District, pledging to carry the America First banner to Washington and keep Alabama’s voice strong on the national stage.
McKee thanked Congressman Barry Moore for his service to Alabama and vowed to build on Moore’s conservative record. “Barry Moore has been a principled voice for our district. I intend to honor that legacy and take the fight even further. For our borders, our freedoms, and the America First agenda,” McKee said.
A Green Beret who has served on battlefields around the world, McKee says the greatest threats to America today come from within: “Washington’s spending, open borders, and attacks on our constitutional rights are eroding the nation we fought for. I’ve battled America’s enemies overseas - now I’m ready to defeat the enemies of freedom here at home.”
McKee’s campaign priorities include:
• Secure the Border & Crush the Cartels with the same tactical precision he used in combat.
• Defend Constitutional Rights with zero compromise, especially the Second Amendment.
• Put America First by protecting American jobs, rebuilding manufacturing, and ending foreign dependency.
• Reform the VA so no veteran is abandoned.
• End Washington Waste and return power to states, communities, and families.
“Alabama’s 1st District is ready for the next chapter of conservative leadership,” McKee said. “I will fight for our families, defend our values, and ensure Washington works for the people. Not the other way around.”
Joshua McKee lives in Baldwin County with his wife Jennifer and their family. His life story; from a broken childhood to Special Forces leadership. Is detailed in Built Without Applause. For more information on Joshua McKee, visit www.mckeeforcongress.com.
