“This campaign is about An Alabama We Can Afford — lower costs, stronger public schools, real healthcare. That’s my platform,” said Karlapalem. “While Alabama families are tightening their belts, the supermajority legislature and the special interests are tightening their grip on Alabamians. My years of service to the community in Northern Alabama demonstrates my commitment to its people. I am running because the people of District 4 deserve a fresh start and new leadership.”

Karlapalem has earned a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). He has been a consistent voice for constituent advocacy on issues including utility costs, public education, constitution, and smart growth.
His campaign is built on three governing principles — Economy First, People First, and Constitution First — and three core issues: lower costs for Alabama families, stronger public schools, and real healthcare access.
“I swore an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States,” Karlapalem said. “My loyalty is to that Constitution — not to kings, not to special interests, and not to any party above the law. I am asking for your vote on November 3rd to build an Alabama we can afford.”
