ICYMI: Montgomery County GOP Candidate Forum
Watch the candidates on the Facebook stream
The Montgomery County GOP’s candidate forum on Thursday evening at the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association Building in Montgomery was one of the largest candidate events this cycle.
More than twenty Republican candidates in both local and Statewide races spoke to the attendees. The order of speakers was determined randomly at their arrival to assure fairness.
The event was well attended and ran smoothly, thanks to the efforts of the organizers. Thanks are also due to the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association for the use of their excellent facility and WiFi access provided to this site.
The event was live-streamed on the ALPolitics.com Facebook page with only minor interruptions.
The streams may be found at these links:
Unfortunately, despite strong WiFi from the Cattlemen and a strong cell signal, there were two interruptions to the stream. This is a not-uncommon difficulty encountered on Facebook streams, despite every effort being made to prevent it.
Because of these interruptions,, the presentations of Patrick Bishop (Lt. Governor) and Jeremy Oden (PSC Place 1) were interrupted. We encourage all Republican voters to find out more about these candidates through the web and social media, as well as the other candidates who were present.
In accordance with Facebook’s policies, these will be available for 30 days before being automatically removed.
ALPolitics.com hereby grants every candidate who spoke permission to use their own presentation for campaign purposes. We only ask that you credit the source, and refrain from using other candidate’s presentations in the attack ads and mudslinging that everyone decries (until they do it themselves).
