ICYMI: “Take It Down Alabama” Women’s Safety Conference in Montgomery
Thursday’s CCA-sponsored event featured presentations by survivors, experts & lawmakers on online child exploitation, safety tools, new laws
The Christian Coalition of Alabama (CCA) hosted its inaugural Women’s Education Conference on Thursday evening, April 23. The event, held at Frazer Church in Montgomery, brought together State leaders, advocates, and families to address the growing threat of online exploitation targeting children.
The event, titled “Take It Down Alabama,” was organized to provide Alabama families clear information and practical tools to protect children in a digital world that is changing fast.
Speakers include:
- Drew Stahl — Sophomore at the University of Alabama, sexual assault survivor
- Rep. Ben Harrison (R-Elkmont, HD-2) — Sponsor of the 2026 Anti-AI Pornography Protection Act
- Rep. Ernie Yarbrough (R-Trinity, HD-7) — On legislation protecting minors from harmful content
- Kristi Bush — Keynote; National Education Consultant and Social Media Safety Expert
- Dr. Randy Brinson — Host; President and Chairman, Christian Coalition of Alabama
