Eagle Forum of Trussville held their April meeting on Thursday, April 9 at the Trussville Civic Center, 5381 Trussville Clay Rd., Trussville, AL.
Moderating the event and introducing the speakers was group President, Julia Cleland. Speakers were:
Jay Mitchell: Running to become Alabama's next Attorney General. Jay is an attorney and Alabama Supreme Court justice with over two decades of legal experience. He has a reputation for tackling tough cases with firm conservative rulings.
Andrew Sorrell: Running for reelection as State Auditor. Prior to being elected Auditor, Sorrell was named Alabama's most conservative legislator for three consecutive years. As our current State Auditor, he has saved taxpayers hundreds of thousands by cutting costs and improving accountability.
Barry Moore: Running for U.S. Senate. He is a Coffee County native, businessman, and Congressman running for U.S. Senate with strong conservative credentials and the endorsement of President Donald Trump. He has built his career on emphasizing fiscal and political conservatism.
