BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — After a strong performance at the Shelby County Republican Candidate Forum, Alabama Conservatives declared Jared Hudson the clear winner of the night, and a standout moment has captured national attention.
When Congressman Barry Moore touted his Liberty Score during the forum, Hudsonresponded: "I haven't had the opportunity to earn a Liberty Score, but I can tell you that I've scored 21-0 against the Taliban. There is nothing more liberating than that."
The line immediately went viral, drawing widespread attention across social media and putting a spotlight on the stark contrast between Hudson's record of real-worldservice and Washington's culture of inside-the-Beltway scorecards.

"Politicians love talking about D.C. interest groups' scores, but Jared has risked his life in the real world to keep our nation free and communities safe," said Alabama Conservatives Senior Advisor Paul Shashy. "Despite constant dishonest and false attacks, Jared continues to build momentum because when voters see or hear from him, he only earns more votes."
Arecent survey of 722 likely Republican primary runoff voters, conducted by Remington Research Group on May 21-22, shows Hudson at 41% support comparedto Moore's 40%, with 18% still undecided ahead of the June 16 runoff.
Hudson is a former Navy SEAL, anti-human trafficking advocate, and law enforcement officer. His campaign has centered on bringing a warrior's mentality, not a politician’s instincts, to Washington.
