Republican candidate Jared Hudson, Navy SEAL combat veteran, founder of an anti-human trafficking nonprofit, and contender for the U.S. Senate, has signed the Moms for Liberty Parent Pledge, publicly affirming his support for parental rights and family-centered education policy.

The pledge, backed by Moms for Liberty, emphasizes the belief that parents are the primary decision-makers in their children’s education and upbringing — not unelected bureaucrats or distant government officials. By signing the pledge, Hudson joins a growing number of leaders in Alabama who are committing to uphold transparency, accountability, and parental authority in public education and related areas.

“I proudly signed the Moms for Liberty Parent Pledge because parents, not the government, have the God-given right to raise, educate, and protect their children,” Hudson said.  “In the U.S. Senate, I’ll fight unapologetically to defend parental rights, push back against federal overreach, and ensure families stay in charge of their children’s future, not Washington.”

Jared Hudson is a seventh-generation Alabamian, former U.S. Navy SEAL sniper, law enforcement officer, and founder of Covenant Rescue Group — a nonprofit dedicated to combating human trafficking and defending vulnerable children. He is running in Alabama’s Republican primary for the U.S. Senate to uphold conservative principles and champion family values in Washington.

Emily Jones, Chapter Chair of Moms for Liberty – Madison County, applauded Hudson’s pledge: “I’ve known Jared for years and saw firsthand his heart for families when he spoke at our See You at the Library event and later partnered with us to highlight Covenant Rescue Group’s work. His commitment to protecting children and empowering parents is genuine, and this pledge simply formalizes what he already believes.”

The Moms for Liberty Parent Pledge has been signed by numerous candidates and leaders across the State as part of a broader effort to recommit to family-centered leadership in education and public policy.
