Katherine Robertson Gains Endorsement from Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch
“Katherine is one of the fiercest advocates I know for law enforcement and law and order”—Sheriff Paul Birch

Katherine Robertson has received a prominent endorsement from Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch. The endorsement bolsters her claim to be the law-and-order choice in the 2026 race for Alabama Attorney General.
Sheriff Burch praised Robertson’s credentials and track record:
“I am proud to support Katherine Robertson in her race for Attorney General. Katherine is one of the fiercest advocates I know for law enforcement and law and order. Her stellar track record as Chief Counsel in the AG’s Office and the ease with which she can move into the top role make her the clear choice for me. I look forward to helping her win.”
Robertson expressed her gratitude at the endorsement, saying:
“It’s an honor to receive Sheriff Paul Burch’s endorsement. His grit and determination to keep Mobile County safe are an inspiration, and I am grateful for his trust in me. Sheriff Burch knows a thing or two about leadership—he’s the kind of guy I want in my corner.”
The Burch endorsement adds to Robertson’s growing list of high-profile backers and strengthens her appeal to voters who prioritize public safety.
As Chief Counsel in the Alabama Attorney General’s Office, Robertson has defended conservative priorities and built a reputation as a staunch ally of law enforcement. Her campaign argues that her record equips her to step into the top position with minimal transition friction.
Her list of supporters includes both political and law enforcement figures. The Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) has formally endorsed her, as has the Alabama Farmers Federation (ALFA). She has also been endorsed by several other Sheriffs and Chiefs of Police across the State.
Robertson will face former Alabama Supreme Court Justice Jay Mitchell and Blount County District Attorney Pamela Casey in the Republican primary on May 19, 2026.
