NFIB Alabama PAC Endorses Katherine Robertson for Attorney General

MONTGOMERY (Oct. 19, 2026) — The NFIB Alabama PAC has endorsed Katherine Robertson for state attorney general. The political action committee is comprised exclusively of NFIB members.

“Small business owners need an attorney general who understands how legal decisions and government regulations affect their ability to earn a living and create jobs,” NFIB State Director Rosemary Elebash said. “Katherine Robertson’s legal experience and work challenging federal overreach make her a strong choice for Alabama’s small businesses.”

Robertson has served as chief counsel to Attorney General Steve Marshall since 2017. Her background also includes positions with the U.S. Department of Justice and as legislative counsel to then-U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions.

“The attorney general plays an important role in ensuring laws are enforced fairly and challenging regulations that exceed the government’s authority,” Elebash said. “Small businesses often lack the resources to fight those battles themselves. They need an attorney general who respects the law and understands the pressures they face.”

Today’s endorsement puts the considerable grassroots support of the state’s small businesses behind Robertson’s campaign. Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for recruiting friends, family members and acquaintances to vote. NFIB will encourage its Alabama members to help turn out the powerful small business voting bloc on Election Day.
