On This Day, We Give Thanks

On this Day of Gratitude, we pause to recognize the many blessings which Divine Providence has bestowed upon our nation and our communities. We give thanks for our liberties, our freedoms, and the abundance which sustains us. We remember the strengths of our friendships, the kindness of our neighbors, and the acts of sharing and service that bring us together.

Let us approach this Day with humility, recognizing that every good thing we enjoy is a gift. As we gather around our tables, let us renew our commitments to ourselves and our countrymen, in the hope that the year to come will find our nation ever more blessed.
