Pamela Casey, Blount County District Attorney and Republican candidate for Alabama Attorney General, has announced that her campaign has garnered contributions from 215 individual and business donors across the State, surpassing all other candidates in the race. This widespread support underscores her deep-rooted connections within Alabama communities.

“These aren't just contributions. They are committed,” Casey said. “Each individual and business that contributes is a voter who will come to the polls and stand with me to keep Alabama safe. This support comes from hardworking Alabamians—teachers, law enforcement officers, district attorneys, crime victims, farmers, homemakers, business owners, and so many others. Their backing proves that the people of this State want an Attorney General with proven courtroom experience who will work and fight for them.”

Since announcing her candidacy in January, Casey has traveled extensively across Alabama, covering over 4,997 miles in August alone to engage with voters. Her campaign emphasizes her extensive prosecutorial experience, distinguishing her from other candidates. “This campaign is about more than raising money—it's about raising up the voices of the people of Alabama,” she added.

Casey’s grassroots support contrasts with the financial backing of her opponents. Former Alabama Supreme Court Justice Jay Mitchell and Katherine Robertson, Chief Counsel to current Attorney General Steve Marshall, have reported significantly higher fundraising totals. However, Casey maintains that her campaign's strength lies in its widespread local support and her commitment to serving the people of Alabama.

“I am proud that this support comes directly from the people I want to serve, not from outside interests,” Casey concluded. “Leading the field in Alabama contributors sends a strong message: the people of this State want an Attorney General who enforces the law, protects families, and fights for what is right. They want experience.”

The Republican primary for the 2026 Attorney General race is scheduled for May 19, 2026. With her extensive grassroots network and proven legal expertise, Casey intends to bring a people-centered approach to the office of Attorney General.
