The Katherine Robertson campaign scored a significant boost this week with an official endorsement from the Petroleum and Convenience Marketers of Alabama (P&CMA).

P&CMA, which represents fuel and convenience businesses across Alabama, praised Robertson for her pro-business stances and her support of the state’s energy sector.

Rex Jones, Chairman of the Board of Directors for P&CMA cited Robertson’s strong record of advocating for policies that foster a business-friendly environment, protecting small businesses in Alabama, and uphold the rule of law as key reasons for their support.

“Having known Katherine nearly her whole life, I know she understands the challenges faced by our industry and has demonstrated a clear commitment to fostering economic opportunity while ensuring fairness and accountability,” Jones stated. “We are confident that as Attorney General, she will be a steadfast advocate for Alabama’s businesses and consumers.”

Robertson expressed her appreciation for the endorsement, stating,

“I am deeply honored to receive the support of the Petroleum and Convenience Marketers of Alabama. After years of dealing with the Biden administration’s green-new-scam, rising gas prices, and billions in wasted tax dollars, thankfully President Trump is bringing back America’s energy independence. As Attorney General, I will work hand in hand with the Trump administration and members of the Petroleum and Convenience Marketers of Alabama to protect our state’s energy sector, our economic interests and ensure Alabama remains free of disastrous Democrat-led energy policies.”

Robertson’s campaign has already drawn support from small business owners, law enforcement leaders, and conservative organizations across the state. Robertson, a former prosecutor and conservative legal advocate, is running on a platform that emphasizes law enforcement, the MAGA agenda, and guarding Alabamians from what she calls a “reckless” progressive agenda.

Robertson will face former Alabama Supreme Court Justice Jay Mitchell and Blount County District Attorney Pamela Casey in the Republican primary on May 19, 2026. For more information on Robertson, visit her campaign website or follow her on social media.
