Daphne, Ala. — Congressman Barry Moore’s office announces it will host a Service Academy Nomination Interest Meeting on Tuesday, September 1, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. CT at the Daphne City Hall.
The meeting is open to students and families in Alabama’s First Congressional District who are interested in learning more about the process of applying to a United States service academy and receiving a congressional nomination.
Representatives from Congressman Moore’s office will provide information about the nomination process, eligibility requirements, application timelines and what students can expect as they pursue an appointment.
Students who are considering a service academy are encouraged to attend with their parents or guardians.
