Rep. Terri Sewell to Host Rural Roundtable in Sumter County on Sept 5

U.S. Representative Terri Sewell (D-AL7) will be hosting a Rural Community Roundtable in Sumter County on Friday, September 5. The Roundtable will begin at 11:00 AM and conclude at 12:30 PM, and will be held at the Federation of Southern Cooperatives, 575 Federation Rd., Gainesville, AL, 35464.

The event is part of Representative Sewell’s “Congress in your Community Tour“ through all 13 counties in Alabama‘s 7th Congressional District. It will be an opportunity for the Congresswoman to hear your thoughts and concerns, as well as to share updates about her work in Congress. Rep. Sewell will be discussing impacting Alabama rural communities, including tariffs, farming, healthcare, food, assistance, and more.

The event is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is recommended.
