The River Region Veterans Coalition (RRVC) will host a Candidate Forum for the 2026 General Election on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Feast Buffet, 5831 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, Alabama.

This community-focused event will provide an opportunity for candidates seeking public office to present their platforms, share their priorities, and address issues important to residents of the River Region—particularly those impacting veterans, military families, and the broader community.

The forum will feature moderated discussion and give attendees the chance to hear directly from candidates in a respectful and informative setting.

“The River Region Veterans Coalition is committed to strengthening our community by connecting citizens with the information they need to make informed decisions,” said Jason Hughes, Communications Director for RRVC. “This forum is about providing a space for open dialogue and ensuring that the voices of veterans and our community are heard.”

RRVC is a nonpartisan organization, and this event is intended to educate voters, not advocate for any specific candidate or political party.
