Robertson Endorsed by Limestone County Sheriff Joshua McLaughlin
“Katherine Robertson is my choice for Attorney General”—Sheriff Joshua McLaughlin

Alabama Attorney General candidate Katherine Robertson has received a new nod from Limestone County Sheriff Joshua McLaughlin, adding to her growing roster of endorsements from law enforcement and conservative groups.
In announcing his support, Sheriff McLaughlin praised Robertson’s history of engagement with public safety issues. “Katherine Robertson is my choice for Attorney General. As sheriff, I need an attorney general who is willing to listen and willing to lead,” he said. “Katherine has proven time and again that she is unafraid to lead on the issues that matter most to the law enforcement community. She is well-prepared to take the reins and I am proud to endorse her as our next AG.”
Robertson responded with gratitude, emphasizing her commitment to law enforcement. “I’m grateful to have Sheriff McLaughlin’s endorsement in this race! Sheriff McLaughlin is exactly right, as Alabama’s next Attorney General, I will always have the back of Alabama’s law enforcement. The reason they are supporting me in this race is because they’ve seen my work and they’ve seen my record. They know I’m their girl.”
Robertson’s campaign continues assembling support across the State. To date, she has secured public endorsements from Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch, Henry County Sheriff Eric Blankenship, Pell City Police Chief Clay Morris, Calera Police Chief David Hyche, Bibb County Sheriff Jody Wade, Dale County Sheriff Mason Bynum, Alabama Farmers Federation (ALFA / FarmPAC), and the Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA).
Robertson will face Jay Mitchell, former Alabama Supreme Court Justice, and Pamela Casey, Blount County District Attorney, in the Republican primary on May 19, 2026. (Wikipedia)
