Rodney Walker Rolls Out First Senate Campaign Ad in Alabama
“Our country can’t get anything done because we have a bunch of folks who don’t know how to do anything for themselves in power”—Rodney Walker
Republican candidate Rodney Walker has launched the first television advertisement of his campaign for the U.S. Senate. The spot—“I Built It”—introduces Walker to Alabama voters as a conservative outsider who brings real-world business experience and a promise to shake up “The DC Swamp” to the race.
In the ad, Walker delivers lines in plain language meant to resonate with everyday Alabamians. “I’m going to talk to the voters of Alabama the same way I talk to everyone—so they can hear me and understand what I’ve got to say,” Walker says. “Our country can’t get anything done because we have a bunch of folks who don’t know how to do anything for themselves in power. The reason President Trump is so effective is that one working man can get more accomplished in a week than bureaucrats do in their career!”
The advertisement is scheduled to air statewide in all major Alabama markets during the week of Thanksgiving. It emphasizes Walker’s background building businesses, creating jobs, and managing payrolls—painting a sharp contrast between his private-sector track record and what he describes as career politicians who often “talk a lot but deliver little” for working families across Alabama.
Walker frames his campaign as a fight for straightforward conservative values. “DC is broken because we keep sending the same types of people to do the same things,” he says. He adds that he is running “to secure the border, stop the reckless spending that’s driving up prices, defend our conservative values, and make sure Alabama has a voice that can’t be bought or pushed around.”
Walker has already invested a sizable $350,000 of his own money into his campaign, underscoring his pitch as a self-funded candidate who won’t rely on entrenched political interests.
Walker will face several declared Republican contenders, including Attorney General Steve Marshall, U.S. Representative Barry Moore, former SEAL Jared Hudson and former Tuberville aide Morgan Murphy in the May 19, 2026 primary election.
