When I decided to run for Alabama State Senate,  it wasn’t about politics. It was about the people and having working class folks, like me, represented. For years, I’ve worked in our community as an advocate, a neighbor, a mother, and a customer success professional. From founding local initiatives to volunteering with organizations that serve families across our counties, I’ve seen firsthand both the challenges we face locally and the strength we share when we come together to make change.

Our district deserves an experienced leader who understands that everyday struggles — whether it’s finding a doctor close to home, affording trustworthy childcare, or making sure our schools are funded fairly—are not partisan issues. They are community issues. Too often, decisions in Montgomery are driven by special interests or political games instead of what actually matters to the people back home.

It’s time we change that.

The Mandie for Alabama campaign is built on one simple yet powerful word: Access.

Access to healthcare. Access to quality education. Access to opportunity and dignity, no matter your ZIP code or tax bracket.

For our children, access means ensuring every classroom has the resources it needs to succeed from well-supported teachers to safe facilities to fair opportunities across rural and growing communities alike. In Bibb, Chilton, and Shelby counties, no child should fall behind because their school lacks the resources of another. Investing in education is investing in the future of Alabama.

For our families, access means healthcare that is close, affordable, and dependable. In rural parts of our district, too many residents face long drives just to see a doctor or deliver a baby. Expanding Medicaid, supporting rural hospitals, and making mental health services available across every county are not luxuries, they are necessities that I see everyday.

For our communities, access means roads that are safe, broadband that is reliable for remote opportunities, and elections that are fair. It means keeping housing affordable and available, supporting our veterans, and ensuring our government is honest and accountable to the people it serves.

I am not running to add to the political noise, I am running to change the conversation to what Alabama needs. I want to include the people I will work for and hear their stories. In a time when division is often used as a weapon, I believe in the power of bringing people together while focusing on what connects us. The challenges we face are real, but so are the solutions when we choose compassion and community over partisanship.

In 2026, District 14 will have the chance to choose leadership that reflects its people: hardworking, resilient, and hopeful. I’m ready to be that voice in Montgomery for us all. Together, we can build a future where every child, every family, and every community in our state has the access they deserve.

I am one of you, I will fight for you, and I will be honest with you.

Let’s bring the government back to the people in 2026. It starts with you!
