Sen. Cynthia Lummis Endorses Barry Moore for U.S. Senate, Citing Leadership on Crypto and Financial Freedom
Lummis also aligned her endorsement with President Donald Trump’s support of Moore, emphasizing the importance of strong conservative allies in the Senate.
U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis (R-WY), widely recognized as the leading pro-crypto voice in the United States Senate, has endorsed Alabama Congressman Barry Moore in his bid for the U.S. Senate, pointing to Moore’s conservative record and leadership on digital assets and economic freedom.
Lummis praised Moore’s approach to innovation and his understanding of emerging financial technologies, saying his perspective is critical as Washington debates the future of digital finance.
“Barry Moore understands that innovation, not bureaucracy, is the future of American finance,” Lummis said. “He has been a consistent defender of sound money, blockchain innovation, and the right of Americans to control their own assets. As one of the few members of Congress to personally own crypto assets, Barry understands that innovation will power America and Alabama’s future.”
Lummis also aligned her endorsement with President Donald Trump’s support of Moore, emphasizing the importance of strong conservative allies in the Senate.
“I’m proud to join President Trump in supporting Barry Moore, because he will be a powerful ally in the Senate for economic freedom and technological leadership,” she added.
Moore welcomed the endorsement, highlighting Lummis’s national leadership on digital assets and her role in pushing back against overregulation.
“Senator Lummis has led the fight in Washington to keep America at the forefront of financial innovation,” Moore said. “Crypto and blockchain technology are about freedom, privacy, and opportunity. All values that conservatives should defend.”
Moore said that, if elected to the Senate, he intends to work closely with Lummis to ensure America, not China, leads the future of digital finance.
“As U.S. Senator, I’ll work with Senator Lummis to stop regulatory abuse, protect innovators, and ensure the future of digital finance is built in America, not China,” Moore said.
Lummis has represented Wyoming in the U.S. Senate since 2021 and is regarded as Congress’s foremost advocate for Bitcoin and digital assets. She is a founder of the Senate Financial Innovation Caucus and has been a leading voice for policies supporting blockchain innovation and sound money.
Moore, a Coffee County native, is a Christian, husband, father, small-business owner, and veteran of the Alabama National Guard Reserves. He was the first elected official in the nation to endorse Donald Trump for President in 2015 and is currently the only Alabama U.S. Senate candidate with Trump’s “Complete and Total Endorsement.”
Elected to Congress in 2020, Moore is a member of the House Freedom Caucus and has been recognized by CPAC as the most conservative member of Alabama’s congressional delegation. He continues to live in Coffee County with his wife Heather, their family, and remains active in the community he calls home.
