The Senate Conservative Fund (SCF) has officially endorsed Congressman Barry Moore in his bid for the U.S. Senate seat in Alabama.

“Make no mistake. Barry Moore is the only candidate in this race ready to pick up right where Coach Tuberville leaves off,” SCF said in a statement. The group highlighted Moore’s alignment on key priorities, including border security, crime, protecting the right to life, strengthening the economy, defunding the “Deep State,” defending girls’ sports, and putting America First.

“On the issues that matter most, Barry Moore is a fighting, proven conservative. If he wins this race, he will become one of the best senators in Washington the minute he is sworn in,” the statement continued.

Moore, who has represented Alabama’s 2nd Congressional District since 2020, welcomed the endorsement. “I’m honored to have the support of the Senate Conservative Fund,” Moore said. “They have a strong record of identifying and fully supporting candidates who will stand strong for our conservative values and not wilt in the D.C. swamp. Alabama doesn’t need a weathervane politician. I ain’t never been nothing but a conservative Republican.”

Founded in 2008 by former Senator Jim DeMint, the SCF has been an influential conservative force in national politics. The organization has previously backed leaders such as Senator Ted Cruz, Senator Mike Lee, and former presidential candidate Marco Rubio.

Moore, born and raised in Coffee County, is a Christian, husband, father, and small-business owner who served in the Alabama National Guard Reserves. In 2015, he was the first elected official in the country to endorse Donald Trump for president. He and his wife Heather built their company, BMI, Inc., from the ground up, growing it into a successful waste removal and demolition business.

During his time in Congress, Moore has been recognized as both the most conservative member of Alabama’s delegation by CPAC and the state’s most effective legislator by the Center for Legislative Excellence. A member of the House Freedom Caucus, he has championed farmers, veterans, and small businesses while opposing President Biden’s Justice Department and what he calls the “Radical Left’s agenda.”

Moore and his wife live in Coffee County, where they raised their four children. The couple now enjoys time with their two grandchildren and family dogs while continuing to run their business.
