Senator Greg Albritton Launches Re-Election Campaign for Alabama Senate District 22

Alabama State Senator Greg Albritton has officially announced his bid for re-election to the Alabama Senate, seeking to continue representing District 22, which includes Escambia and Washington counties, along with portions of Baldwin and Mobile counties.
A seasoned lawmaker and longtime fiscal conservative, Albritton has served in the Alabama Senate since 2014 and previously held a seat in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2002 to 2006. He currently chairs the powerful Senate Committee on Finance and Taxation – General Fund, where he has overseen the strategic allocation of the state’s $3.7 billion General Fund budget.
“I am honored to have had the opportunity to serve the people of District 22,” said Senator Albritton. “Together, we have made significant strides in improving our communities and managing our state's resources wisely. I look forward to continuing this work and building a brighter future for Alabama.”
During his tenure, Albritton has earned a reputation for prioritizing fiscal responsibility and community development. His leadership has contributed to securing vital infrastructure improvements across the district, including broadband expansion and enhancements to water and sewer systems.
Beyond the Statehouse, Albritton is a fixture in his local community. A resident of Atmore for more than 30 years, he remains deeply engaged with local issues and responsive to constituent needs. He and his wife Deborah have raised six children and are proud grandparents of twenty-two.
With this re-election campaign, Senator Albritton signals a desire to continue shaping state policy and advocating for the people of southwest Alabama.
