Small businesses are getting CRUSHED

Alabama's small business owners are facing labor costs at the highest level in survey history. Hiring plans have hit their lowest point since May 2020. Forty-six percent of owners can't find qualified applicants for open positions. 

Main Street margins are being squeezed dry. This is Trump and the Alabama MAGA machine's economy in action. 

Alabama Republicans have had decades to build an economy that works for small businesses and working people. Instead they've delivered record labor costs, a reckless war that's spiked gas and supply prices, and tax cuts for corporations that compete directly against the small businesses they claim to support.

Meanwhile? We're building something different.

By the end of this month, the Alabama Democratic Party will have two regional organizers and four field organizers deployed across this state — talking to voters, knocking doors, and making the case that Alabama's small businesses, farmers, and working families deserve better than what MAGA has delivered.

We're organizing everywhere Republicans assumed they'd never have to compete. And it's working.

Alabama's small business owners are resilient. They've survived everything this state has thrown at them. What they shouldn't have to survive is a government actively making their lives harder while protecting the corporations and billionaires at the top.
