Guest Opinion by Joshua McKee

From the moment Donald J. Trump took office, I have stood with him. Through his first term, through the battles, through the comeback, and now through his historic second term. What he has accomplished for the American people is nothing short of extraordinary, and the record speaks for itself: the strongest pre-pandemic economy in a generation, record-low unemployment across every demographic, a secured border, peace deals that career diplomats said were impossible, and a federal government finally being held accountable for the first time in decades. But here is what excites me most. We are not finished. President Trump is just hitting his stride, and the best is absolutely still to come. The American people gave him a mandate, and he is delivering on every front. I have proudly supported this President from day one, I stand with him today, and I will continue to stand with him through every fight that lies ahead. Because what he has already built is remarkable, and what he is going to accomplish before his final day in office will cement his legacy as the greatest President this nation has ever seen. The facts below are not just a list of achievements. They are proof that when Americans elect a leader who actually fights for them, extraordinary things happen.

The achievements listed below represent only a fraction of what President Trump has accomplished. A full accounting of his record spans hundreds of executive actions, legislative victories, foreign policy breakthroughs, and economic milestones, far too many to capture in a single article. What follows are simply some of the highlights.

Economy & Jobs

•     Created over 7 million new jobs pre-COVID — more than three times initial government projections — and 654,000 private-sector jobs in the first year of his second term.

•     Achieved the lowest unemployment rate in 50 years (3.5%), with record lows for African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, veterans, and women.

•     Increased median household income to the highest level ever recorded, with wages rising fastest for low-income and blue-collar workers.

•     Achieved 4.3% real GDP growth in Q3 2025, with gas prices falling to nearly five-year lows below $3/gallon.

•     Secured trillions in reshored U.S. investments from Apple, Meta, and other major corporations in manufacturing, AI, and infrastructure.

Tax Reform & Deregulation

•     Signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act — the largest tax reform in U.S. history — and made its provisions permanent with the One Big Beautiful Bill Act on July 4, 2025.

•     Delivered tax relief averaging over $2,000 for a typical family of four, doubled the child tax credit, and added No Tax on Tips and overtime pay deductions.

•     Eliminated 8 old regulations for every 1 new one, removing nearly 25,000 pages from the Federal Register.

•     Created nearly 9,000 Opportunity Zones generating $75 billion in new investment and 500,000+ jobs in distressed communities.

Border Security & Immigration

•     Achieved negative net migration in 2025 for the first time in at least 50 years.

•     Reduced Southwest border apprehensions to the lowest levels since the 1970s — down 87–96% year-over-year.

•     Designated major drug cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations and cut fentanyl trafficking at the border by half.

•     Signed the Laken Riley Act and revived Remain in Mexico, ending catch-and-release for good.

Public Safety & Law Enforcement

•     Recorded the largest one-year drop in homicide rates in U.S. history — murders down approximately 20%.

•     Drug overdose deaths fell 21%, and major human trafficking networks were dismantled with doubled conviction rates.

•     Signed the First Step Act — landmark criminal justice reform — with over 90% of retroactive sentencing reductions benefiting Black Americans.

Foreign Policy & National Security

•     Brokered the Abraham Accords and a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas (October 2025), with hostage returns — deals career diplomats said were impossible.

•     Conducted military operations against Iranian nuclear sites and proxies, and moved the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem.

•     Defeated the ISIS territorial caliphate, eliminated Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, and increased NATO allies' defense spending by $69 billion.

•     Renegotiated NAFTA into the USMCA and imposed tariffs on China and foreign steel to protect American workers.

Energy & Environment

•     Made the United States energy independent and a net natural gas exporter for the first time since 1957.

•     Increased oil and gas drilling permits by 55% in the second term, boosting production and lowering costs for American families.

•     Signed the largest wilderness protection bill in a decade, protecting 375,000+ acres of American land.

Healthcare & Veterans

•     Signed the VA Choice Act, increased VA funding to a record $73.1 billion, and removed over 4,000 underperforming VA employees.

•     Signed the Right-to-Try Act, lowered prescription drug prices, and secured $6 billion+ to combat the opioid epidemic.

•     Provided free HIV prevention drugs to 200,000 uninsured patients per year for 11 years.

Government Efficiency & Reform

•     Signed a record number of executive orders in the first year of his second term — the most since FDR.

•     Established the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), saving billions through contract reviews, program eliminations, and accountability measures.

•     Appointed three Supreme Court justices and confirmed more circuit court judges than any new administration in history.

I have supported Donald Trump through every battle, every victory, and every moment the media said it couldn't be done. And every single time, he proved them wrong. What he has built for this country is extraordinary — and what he is still going to build will be his greatest legacy of all. God bless President Trump, and God bless the United States of America.
